I would like to move back to my home state of NC. I am disabled and need to live near a good hospital. I know Duke is the best! Unfortunately, I cannpt afford to rent-a truck, move, pay deposits. I have EXCELLENT rental history for the past 10+ years! I live in a government subsizied apt. in Michigan now. How do I find a “decent” apt. or home there? Is your section 8 closed? If so, what about HUD properties? The place I live in now is clean and has no problems with hoodlums. I am “onkly” 48 so I do not qualify for senior housing. Please I beg you, can you help me? Three bedroom house w/ 2 full baths. All appliances included. Fully carpeted through out. House is on approx 1/2 acre lot. Rent is $950.00/month w/1st and last due upon approval. One year lease required and decent rental history
I currently live in Jacksonville, NC and I am trying very hard to find and attain housing in the Raleigh/Durham area. The place that I currently reside is the equivalent to a slumlord run trailer and I am TIRED of living this way. If ANYONE knows of any apartments that accept section 8 and pets PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have no family or friends where I am and I need to get out of here because NO ONE should be forced to live in these kinds of conditions!
