Is this all that is available. What about Housing Voucher, or housing choice voucher system? I’m only 30, and function fine in the apartment I’m in. I don’t need to be in a community. I just can’t afford all of my bills (I recieve nothing other than a few food stamps-no electric help,etc.) with my little $780 check each month. I know other people who have been able to chose their own apartment(s). Am I misunderstanding the service you provide?
