Hi,

I found out this past Wednesday that my current landlord is not able to make the necessary repairs in the 30 days required by HUD. So I have to vacate my current residence by the end of June. I have about 60 days after that that I can still be looking.

My voucher is for $744 for a one bedroom and $988 for a two bedroom.

I would like to find a townhouse or condo/apt.

I want to find a two bedroom/two bath for myself and my authorized caretaker. Or a two bedroom/1 bath for the same.

Or if I can only find a 1 bedroom/1 bath, I can do that.

I am a veteran, 53 years old. The list below are the things I would like to have….

Very few kids around under 18. ( a must have)
Updated appliances or at least ones that work. Ice maker
A/C
Pool
Off street parking
Washer/dryer or hook-ups.
Balcony (I want to get an upper lever).

Would prefer an upper level in a high rise. (Yeah keep dreaming Ron) I just want elevation.

Something I have always wanted was a place that had a nice view of downtown and/or the mountains.

Prefer Capital Hill or Wash Park, but I am ok with South Aurora, south of Illif. Must be in a nice area. Boundaries for something on Capital Hill, Wash Park are East of Broadway, South of 14th to about the Cheesman Park area. West of Broadway but no further than I-25

I know that finding a place with all my wants, is not realistic. However, with the exception of me not wanting kids around everything else I am flexible with.
