Willows California needs more Section 8 available renting, including houses, rather than 2 apartment complexes. Willow Oaks is not a good place to rent. I have family living in one of the apartments there with a 1 1/2 year old. There are multiple repairs needed which are property responsibility. This is a subsidized complex. If they are not tending to what needs to be done with “general” tenants, what makes Section 8 think this is an ok complex to send Section 8 people to? Also, before Section 8 considers the federally funded complex across the street from the hospital on Villa St. in Willows, there’s also a person residing there who has admitted to 13 counts of child porn & has cost his girlfriend her 2 kids (taken by CPS). He still resides on the property- with the family room window overlooking the playground on the property. We need SAFE places for our kids (and pets for that matter) to live.
